You are not alone on your soul journey

Even the most enlightened must face their humanity.

It is difficult to stay in intimate connection to the Divine through the density of this dimension. Mary and Yeshua face a dark night of the soul in chapter 5: To Heal Self:

“I am sorry, Yeshua, but this will be a dark journey.” The morning star shines brightly above the tent, but in my navel the elestial stone is as cold as death. Shivering, I wonder where the divine is taking us.”

Is Your Hypothalamus Causing Your Health Problems?

Hypothalamic dysfunction could be root of your health issues, if you have the following symptoms:

• Weight gain and inability to normalize weight
• Hair loss
• Exercise intolerance
• Lack of endurance
• Hot flashes
• Temperature intolerance
• Fatigue
• Insomnia
• Skin rashes
• Moodiness
• Depression
• Anxiety
• Intolerance of usual stressors
• Forgetfulness or brain fog
• Irregular periods or No periods
• Infertility
• Headaches
• Thyroid disorders
• Adrenal disorders
• Auto-immune diseases

I have been writing articles regarding the hypothalamus for years and finally the public is reading them. When I got this email, I realized that the time is ripe for the role the hypothalamus plays in our health to be appreciated:

I have been doing research on the Hypothalamus and more specifically the disorders that can plague that gland. I stumbled upon an article you wrote which included a link to your product Genesis Gold®. I have to say that I am very intrigued, as the information you have provided speaks to me and the trials facing me. I would like to give you a history, if you do not mind….

Then she went on to describe a myriad of the above symptoms…which she assessed was hypothalamic after many doctors and treatments later had not relieved her of her problems. Her health goals were to:

• Lose fat and gain muscle
• Improve sleep and energy levels
• Balance hormones and improve fertility
• Ease symptoms of depression

I guess the whole point of this email is to inquire about your products. I am willing to try just about ANYTHING and I am impressed by the “idea” of your products. My main concern is the cost and the validity of your products and company. I mean no offense, but it is so hard to tell what is real, and what is a scam. I find the information on your site to be very accurate, and informative…especially since there really isn’t a lot of information on hypothalamus disorders and even more so on what to do about them. I would appreciate it if you would write me back.

Thank you very much.

So I wrote back:

I understand your reservation.

Genesis Health Products was incorporated in 2000. The product has been on the market since 2003 and available online since 2007. I waited to make it available to the public to take time to collect data on a wide variety of populations. I seeded the internet with articles in 2008. It’s just been the past couple of years that people are interested in the hypothalamic connection.

Genesis Gold® and Sacred Seven® are the only plant based nutraceuticals that focus on balancing the hypothalamus, improving hypothalamic-pituitary axis, and supporting the neuro-immune-endocrine system. I created them because I could not find anything in allopathic or naturopathic medicine that would correct hypothalamic dysfunction.

As you know, there is no way to measure the hypothalamic hormones without killing the lab rat. So we have to make an assumptive diagnosis based on the decline of hormones directly related to hypothalamic function—like those controlled by pro-opiomelanocortin—the thyroid, adrenals, and pancreas.

Since Genesis Gold® has been available, I have seen patients completely dependent on hormone replacement therapy (adrenal, thyroid, sex steroids) with hypometabolism and metabolic syndrome heal.

One of my patients, a woman in her mid 30’s diagnosed with hypopituitarism and an anatomically normal pituitary gland, came to me wanting bio-identical hormone replacement rather than the synthetics she had been taking for years. She had never had a period and only with obsessive exercise and HRT was she able to keep her weight under control.

She did very well on the bio-identicals for years. When I finally got Genesis Gold® manufactured, she agreed to give it a try. Over the next eighteen months, she was able to wean off her hormones, all of them. And had her own periods not induced by exogenous hormones. I told her it was time to think about contraception. She laughed. She still believed what the doctors had told her all her life—that she was infertile.

She gave birth to a healthy baby boy at the age of 43. She has been hormone free since. I suspect that when she gets close to menopause, she may need some transitional hormone supplementation.

She is my most dramatic case. I have others with hypothalamic dysfunction yet not full panpituitary syndrome who have been able to start functioning on their own.

So far fourteen babies have been born to previously infertile women using Genesis Gold®. I have had insulin dependent diabetics be able to cut their insulin dosages in half. I have patients with thyroiditis normalize their anti-thyroid antibodies and reverse their hypothyroidism. I have seen polycystic ovary and amenorrheic women menstruate normally after just a couple of months of use.

Genesis Gold® and Sacred Seven® are the only plant based nutritional supports for the hypothalamus. With glandulars you are limited to six months of use as after that studies show that the glandular is dispersed through the system rather than concentrated in the target gland. We were not meant to consume the glands of animals for more than medicinal purposes.

I wish that I could afford to do the research necessary to support my findings. All I have are case studies. Yet Genesis Gold® sells itself. People see how well their friends and family are doing and start taking it too.

I recently started consulting in a conventional medical practice. These patients are over medicated and undereducated. The physicians do not believe in supplementation. I’ve broached the subject with some of their tough cases. And those who have chosen to take Genesis Gold® are responding quickly. Perhaps that is because they are so very toxic with all the medications and poor diets.

Most of my customers/patients find that Genesis Gold® replaces many bottles of supplements saving them at least half in cost and a whole lot in convenience.

While Genesis Gold® contains Sacred Seven® amino acids, I find that adding extra Sacred Seven® hastens the healing in the toughest cases.

It’s about time we got to the root of so many health issues.

The hypothalamus is maestro of the entire symphony of hormones, neurotransmitters, and immune factors. Plus it controls all our basic body functions including those essential for survival.

Thankfully, the hypothalamus is very responsive to nutritional therapeutics. And I created Genesis Gold® to support the hypothalamus. If the maestro gets support, the whole orchestra is more harmonious.

Feed the body what it needs to heal and it will heal.

I hope you find this information helpful.

HEALING TRANSFORMATIONS

2015 has turned out to be a transformative year. So much change. Some of us will feel the transformation more acutely than others.

We might notice changes in sleep patterns. We may experience anxiety or depression, foggy thinking, low energy. We may experience the stress of some crazy events around us in our families, in our communities, in the world around us.

What was once true seems to shifting. What we once knew is relearned. Everything changes. Gold transforms to silver. Dark shifts to light.

In 1997 I decided to leave conventional medicine and go out on my own to start my own integrative health care practice. It’s been a journey and now I have come full circle. Ironic, since I named my practice—Full Circle Family Health. I wanted to get back to the root of health care, to be able to practice the art of healing, to use my scientific training to become a medical detective, to uncover the root of dis-ease, to find alternative therapies when allopathic medicine could not heal or was not the patient’s choice. And I did. I created a holistic health care practice that focused on individualized therapy for each patient by merging the science of medicine with the art of healing.

Full Circle Family Health allowed me to come out of the closet and practice Intuitive Integrative Medicine. And the patients came from around the world. By word of mouth, they found me. More and more difficult cases. Each one unique. And I developed unique integrative treatment protocols—nutritional, herbal, homeopathic, natural hormone therapy, lifestyle counseling and education, spiritual mentoring, focusing on the symbology of dis-ease and soul lessons. The farther on my spiritual path I journeyed, the more receptive my patients became to learning the mind-body-soul connections. As I healed, so did they.

Then the recession hit. And I fought back. I maintained my cash based practice. No, I never accepted insurance reimbursement. Patients paid for my services out of pocket then sought reimbursement from their insurance. And they got what they paid for. Individualized care that focused on prevention, education rather than medication, and healing therapeutics that fit their belief systems. And most awakened to their truth, their soul purpose became clear, they began expressing their authentic selves in all aspects of their lives. And they healed.

In 2000, I developed a nutritional product—Genesis Gold—that became my foundational therapy to heal neuro-immune-endocrine imbalances and optimize genetic potential. Of course, science has yet to prove genetic optimization, but the proof is in the pudding. Few of my patients came to me well, paying cash meant a bit of desperation on their part and a great deal of commitment. I was often the last of their many medical and alternative consults. They had journeyed far in seeking healing so by the time they came to see me, they were pretty worn out by the system. The disease oriented system. Not only that of conventional medicine, but even their alternative practitioners tended to focus on relieving symptoms rather than getting to the root of the issue. Not that I blame them, it’s what the majority of patients want. “Can you just make this go away, doc?”

I am a big believer in teaching a man to fish rather than fishing for him the rest of his life. Conventional medicine is about doctors doing the fishing. My nursing background taught me that unless patients are educated they will never learn to heal themselves. And really we do not heal them. I do not heal my patients, I teach them how to heal themselves by helping them remember their innate healing abilities. And I model that remembrance for them.

The proof is in the pudding. My patients are the pudding. And so am I. If I don’t walk my talk, how can I expect my patients to be able to live healthier lives? Not that I prescribe any one diet, exercise program, or lifestyle. There is not one diet that’s right for every body. Not one exercise regime or lifestyle that is best for everyone. Individualized therapy is the key. And that takes time. Time consulting with my patients, performing thorough physical exams, learning their way of learning, of healing, of making shifts, and trusting my innate gift as a healer to pick up on the subtle energy of imbalance, whether it is hormonal, neurochemical, chromosomal, mental, emotional, spiritual. Even more reason for me to keep as healthy as possible. Healing is vibrational. If I am in tune then I can feel when they are out of tune.

It’s why the eye doctor has the thickest glasses. We attract what we are, what we believe. And I believe in the healing potential of every body. So they come sick and leave well. Not the same day, yet over time, they learn to heal themselves. I teach what I know. And I know optimal wellness.

HEAL YOUR RELATIONSHIPS WITH LOVEDANCE

Most of you know me as an intuitive healer, a hormone expert…and that I teach through story.

Well, LoveDance is the story of a young woman coming into her Sacred Feminine power through intimate relationships. It’s the story of awakening to the truth of our being…as told by its heroine—Mary Magdalen.

And so many readers have shared Mary’s journey through LoveDance and have healed as well.

“Thank you for such a beautiful book. Oh my G-D! Your book encompasses the best of everything I ever read. I absolutely adored it. Provocative, engaging, universal truths expressed through a fabulous character—so loveable and believable. “

Thank you, Gretchen Monak, La Jolla CA

Healing the body is often the focus of medicine, yet without addressing soul issues, physical healing is difficult.

“What an experience. There was a beautiful transmission and healing that happened to me in reading this book…..I met the divine embodied feminine. I didn’t read LoveDance with my mind; I read it with my body. Thank you, Deborah.” Susan Dasch MFT PhD, San Diego CA

In LOVEDANCE I address relationship issues, parenting issues, letting go,
disentangling cords of attachment, the process of death and dying, the symbolism of disease– all through the eyes, voice, and heart of a woman that history malaligned.

SNEAK PREVIEW LOVEDANCE Of THE MAGDALEN

I am honored that “Saving Grace” an excerpt from LOVEDANCE OF THE MAGDALEN was chosen to be included in 2014 Bacopa Reviews

What’s Your New Year’s Mantra?

Most of us make New Years resolutions. Promises to make changes…lose weight, make more money, get organized, be happier. Many of us make the same resolutions every year. And for a couple of months, we are committed. And most of us fail to keep our resolutions.

Twelve years ago my husband and I decided to break tradition and choose a Mantra for the year. No more resolutions for us…only Mantras. A word or phrase that summed up the spirit of our intentions for the year.

You may be familiar with mantras as a repetitive prayer chanted to aid meditation. A Sanskrit word meaning “sacred counsel”, a New Year’s Mantra becomes divine guidance for twelve months.

On New Years Eve 2001, we chose our first Mantra–Ease. Everything we did that year was based on Ease. If we were struggling with a decision, we chose Ease and took the path of least resistance. That year was a year of change, big change. Our son graduated high school and went off to college, our daughter started high school, and we moved. We sold our home, a rental property, and gave up the lease on my health care clinic. With layers of real estate contingencies, our decision appeared convoluted, seemingly not one of Ease. It took a lot of faith to let go of everything and relax in the flow.

On a warm spring day in Ventura, I was waiting in my office when a new patient cancelled her two hour consultation. Frustrated without my computer to work on my book, and with two teenagers, there was lots to be done at home, yet I was stuck at my clinic…and then I had a brilliant idea. What if I could have it all? A house for our family, a barn for our horses, and room for my holistic health care practice, so healing and creating would be like eating and breathing? It was time to move.

Eight years before, I had dreamt of a little yellow house with white shutters in a forest. Twice before we tried to sell our old house yet we could not find the perfect place…until the year of Ease.

In 2002, California real estate was hot. Homes were selling in a matter of days at top price, yet not for us. Our real estate agent fussed, my husband worried, but I knew that nothing would sell until we found the perfect place that would fill all of our needs. And I insisted on Ease. I refused to struggle with anything. Only that which presented itself with Ease would do.

Then we found something, not quite perfect, but it would do. Before putting in a bid, we wanted to explore the neighborhood. So we walked our dogs through the beautiful park like Arbolada in Ojai and came across…a little yellow house with white shutters sheltered by trees. With a sale by owner sign right by the mailbox.

“This is it!” I cried, tied the dogs to an oak tree, and knocked on the door.

A woman opened the door, took one look at me, put her hand to her mouth and whispered, “You…you’re the one who’s supposed to live here!”

I nodded. She sadly shook her head, “But we already have a bid.”

“Don’t worry,” I reassured her and myself, “this is the house from my dreams. Everything will work out.”

And it did. Everything came together with an Ease that took our breath away. We have chosen mantras each New Years since.

For 2014, we chose the Mantra of Adventure. 2014 felt like Year One in this new energy. Year One was filled with change for us…so much so that by the end of it, I didn’t even record a holiday letter for family and friends…there was too much to tell…

For my husband, Adventure meant to experience life outside our comfort zone. Well, in that light, we took spur of the moment trips with people we hardly knew and had the time of our lives. We rode 1500 miles on our motorcycle through the Sierra Nevadas and swam with giant manta rays off the Big Island at night.

For me, Adventure meant to risk being the fullest expression of myself.

The first nine months of this year, we spent planning a big fat Greek-Italian wedding. As my daughter moved from her time as a maiden into marriage and eventually motherhood, I felt like I was transitioning into my sage years…once called the crone…it is a time in a woman’s life that she becomes a “Grand-Mother”, a wise woman. The Native Americans honor a woman with the title of “grandmother” when she is at least 52 years old and menopausal. Perhaps until we stop bleeding out our sacred wisdom, do we earn the right to be known as “Grand-Mother”.

After my nephew’s funeral in early November, we gathered at the home of a family friend. While the adults took comfort in each other’s company, I played with the little ones. My year old great-nephew and his two and three year old cousins colored at a kid’s table and I sat on the floor and joined them. I traced their little hands with crayons as we sang nursery rhymes. When the mother of the two little girls finally called them to dinner, the three year old stomped her foot and said, “No! We’re playing with Grand-Mother!”

Neither of my children have blessed me with grandchildren yet in that moment, I realized that I have arrived. I am now a “Grand-Mother”.

By the end of 2014, my Adventure Mantra brought me to the threshold of a new way of being.

Remember our little yellow house? Well, at the annual Arbolada block party, we met the couple who had put the bid on our house right before we found it. They told us that that day they felt like there was something better for them and found, just a quarter mile away, their perfect house. So they withdrew their bid. And we both got our dream homes in 2002- the Year of Ease.

So how do you choose a Mantra? Well, you can start by making resolutions or intentions for the New Year and then search for a theme in your resolutions. Underneath the surface of your list of resolutions, what do you truly desire? At the heart of your intentions, what does your soul need?

Are you resolving to make more money, get out of debt, spend more time with your loved ones? Perhaps your mantra is Freedom.

Or do you intend to lose weight, get your blood pressure down, eat better? Perhaps your mantra is Health.

Or perhaps life has been so crazy difficult lately, that Ease feels like the perfect Mantra for you.

Between Ease and Adventure, we have chosen Mantras of Joy, Being in the Moment, Love, Rejuvenation. The year we chose Rejuvenation, we got a jacuzzi and remodeled our kitchen, rejuvenating our bodies and our home.

This year, we choose Flow as our Mantra. To be in the Flow and especially not get in the way of the Flow. I see Flow like a river of consciousness. Rather than building a raft or hanging onto the banks, I imagine just relaxing into the Flow, letting the Flow take me with ease to the fulfillment of my greatest purpose. I can feel that this is truly the beginning of my time on earth as a wise woman. There is a strange sense of peace that has accompanied my transition into “Grand-Mother”. Perhaps it is the Flow.

May 2015 find you being your truth, loving your self, and living your Mantra to the fullest!

Blessings of Love and Light,

Deborah

How LOVEDANCE can help you heal

As I get to know a patient, their core issue becomes apparent and when they are ready to deal with it, we do. Sometimes I am blessed to have a new patient come to me for a consult and they are so ripe (ready to heal) that I can “see” what their core issue is, speak it, and the patient says, “Yes, that makes sense!” Healing is much faster when we deal with the psychospiritual along with the physical.

I’ve had quite a few patients open up to their core issues after reading LoveDance®. I know it’s a novel, but somehow the story unveils deep seated truths so that your self limiting beliefs become highlighted.

Dear Grieving Parent,

So many people seem to be transitioning right now…I’ve been to three funerals in as many weeks. I’ve counseled many patients, loved ones, and friends who’ve experienced the loss of a dear one. I truly believe that these souls are transitioning now to help us connect to the spirit world. Our love for them becomes the portal. But only through joy can we connect. I wrote the letter below to help those who have lost a child…especially a young adult child…

Dear Grieving Parent,

Know that you are loved very much. We wish there was more we could do to relieve you of your pain. We cannot fathom what you’re going through but are so impressed with your courage and strength. While the pain in your heart will lessen with time, it won’t go away completely. Know that the pain, the grief, the loss of your beloved child will be the event that transforms you.

Life will become more precious. You will begin to live more in the moment, less in the past. You will stop worrying about the future and start enjoying the time you have now to spend here on earth. Because that Presence, that ability to receive joy in the moment, that is your child’s gift to you.

Your child was and is a sensitive soul. A tender heart without an adequate shell for life on earth who felt everything perhaps too keenly. Imagine being a sponge soaking in everyone’s emotion- the good, the bad, and the ugly. Eventually it would take a toll on you. The stress would be tremendous and eventually a way to escape would be welcome.

You might have heard of the indigo children. Indigo represents their life force – the sixth chakra, the one that lies between the eyebrows – that is their dominant trait. Brilliant, sensitive, insightful. Most of these indigo energy souls were born in the eighties, some as late as the nineties. Yet these children who perceive their world so much more acutely than their parents often seek escape. Many are diagnosed with learning disabilities or mood disorders. Some seek escape through chemicals. Many commit suicide. Your child was not alone.

These souls came to earth to transform our consciousness, to help make us more aware of our hearts. They live to stir up our emotions, to make us feel again through the drama of raising them and letting them go. Especially through their passing, they gift their soul family with the emotional change needed for spiritual transformation.

So what change is needed?

It’s time to Choose Love.

Your child’s death is a message. Time for a change. It’s time to release despair and embrace hope. It’s time to live not from our root chakra of survival but in our heart chakra where love and compassion exist.

I believe that means to be open to receive love. As a parent you may be great at giving love. It’s just much harder to be vulnerable and open to receive love. And even harder to learn to love yourself. To be compassionate not just to others but to yourself. You see, love begins with you.

The old energies were about martyrdom, sacrificing ourselves for others. We look at these young people as selfish when they seem to have no goals except that of self pleasure, but perhaps they are part of the pendulum swinging. The generations before them lived to work waiting until retirement to enjoy life. The younger generation works to live…enjoying life now. They are reminding us that this life is about joy. That’s not to say that you should not take care of your responsibilities. But do it out of love, not out of fear.

You see in order to live a life of love, to really begin to love yourself, then truly love others, you must Choose Love.

Every choice you make is either motivated by either Love or Fear. All negative emotions- jealousy, anger, frustration, disappointment, despair-are aspects of Fear. All positive emotions- joy, hope, compassion, appreciation, especially gratitude – are aspects of Love.

You now have a unique opportunity to choose Love. Every moment of every day. It’s ok to feel fear, but when you act let it be from Love. Your love for your beloved child will be the fuel for your new way of being. And your loved ones will be your practice field. Now time to start choosing love for you. Taking great care of yourself, loving yourself, releasing fear and embracing joy.

Choose love and you’ll always be home. Your beloved child lives now in your heart. Your child is your connection to the spirit world.

When you lose someone precious to you, their death becomes a portal for your soul transformation. Once your grief lightens, in those brief moments of joy, when your heart is open then you will realize that your child is right there with you just waiting for you to expand your consciousness and receive them. Your personal angel, your spiritual guide now, and for all those loved ones left on earth that are open to receive them. That’s the amazing thing about being outside of our bodies, we can be anywhere, anytime, with anyone all at the same time!

We love you and will always be here for you.

Love and Light,

Deborah

TIME TO GATHER THE HEALING COUNCIL

One summer, I gave a healing workshop for my colleagues. Forty physicians, nurse practitioners, chiropractors, and naturopaths gathered near beautiful Lake Tahoe in California. The mountains serene, the audience open to receive my message, I shared pearls of healing wisdom from twenty years of practicing Intuitive Integrative Medicine.

After ending the workshop with a lesson from LoveDance (how to disentangle our cords of attachment), one young doctor clutched the book to his chest and said, “If you teach us what you know, then we can be your disciples.”

His friend laughed, “Do you even know what her book is about?”

He shook his head, “No, but the cover is so beautiful.”

“It’s about Mary Magdalen!”

“So I said something profound?” He wondered.

Yes, young doctor, you did.

May the council gather once again to heal this dimension—heart and soul.

Many Blessings,

Deborah

Chamam Wisdom – Time for Women to Enjoy their Sacred Renewal

What ever happened to the Chamam? You may know the Hebrew Chamam as the red tent, the menstrual hut, the healing place women would go during their moon cycles to renew themselves, to share wisdom, to appreciate their sacred feminine natures?

Let us emulate the wisdom of Mary Magdalen’s time and retreat once a month for sacred renewal. You need not go anywhere. Just within. A cup of soothing tea, a hot soak in water perfumed with your favorite scent, a massage, a long walk in nature. Learn to take time out to care for your self, your body, your soul. Once a month during the dark moon reflect on your interiority. Who are you and why are you here?

Come, spend some time with Mary and the women in LoveDance Awakening the Divine Daughter.

My daughter’s wedding…truly a living LoveDance!

On Saturday my daughter married her best friend. Like my love story, hers began early. They met freshman year in college and nearly eight years later they wed. My artistic daughter designed everything for her beautiful wedding. Her father built the chupah. She hand painted driftwood with each guest’s name. My sisters placed over 80 vintage bottles filled with hydrangeas, greenery, baby’s breath and fairy lights on heirloom lace doilies at every table.

She carried my Nana’s hankie, and had two of Poppop’s hankies embroidered for her father and me to dry our happy tears!

Years ago when I first set up my LoveDance website, my daughter painted a picture that reminded me of Yeshua and Mary Magdalen. And Saturday when she met her beloved at the chupah, I once again relived the beautiful love story.
